Primavera Preschool is a family owned daycare and preschool on Bayou Branch Ave in Westchase, caring for Tampa families since 2006. We care for infants through VPK, with engaging learning activities, morning and afternoon snacks, and a focus on each child's growth and development.

Ready for kindergarten

We build critical math thinking, phonological awareness, and social, emotional and cognitive skills, with print knowledge, story books, comprehension and early literacy. Conscious Discipline teaches self regulation, character, self help skills and positive behavior. See our curriculum and meet our staff.

Spanish, soccer and more. Children can join our Spanish class, soccer and Shining Stars theater. Families join us for school events, volunteering and Community Helper visits.
Cleaner air, out of sight. Our air conditioning has UV light built into the air handler. Air moving through the system passes the light before it comes back into the classrooms, so it is treated whenever the system is running. The light stays inside the unit, where children never see it or come near it, and it works without sprays or chemicals. UV light has been used for years in hospitals and other buildings to help control germs and mold, and it is one more way we look after the air our youngest children breathe, from infants at 8 weeks old to our VPK class.
Help paying for care. We are a School Readiness provider for Hillsborough County and Pinellas County, a Step-Up provider, and a free VPK provider for 4 year olds. New students get $1,200 off tuition, spread over 48 weeks, after one month of attendance. Enrollment of at least one year is required.
Older brothers and sisters. After School Care for ages 5 to 10 includes pick up from Mary Bryant, Deer Park and Lowry Elementary.

What ages does Primavera care for?

We care for infants from 8 weeks old through VPK, and offer After School Care for ages 5 to 10.

What are your hours?

We are open Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:15 p.m., with full time, part time and half day care. Drop-ins are sometimes available when we have space.

Do you provide meals and snacks?

We provide morning and afternoon snacks for preschool and after school children. Lunch is optional: bring lunch from home, or choose our catered lunch service from Farm Fresh Catering.

Are your staff background screened and CPR certified?

Yes. All of our staff, including our custodian and bus driver, have Level 2 background screening and Adult, Child and Infant CPR and First Aid certification.

Is Primavera licensed and accredited?

Yes. We are licensed in Florida (license C13HI0284) and are APPLE and Gold Seal accredited.

Do you accept School Readiness or Step-Up?

Yes. We are a School Readiness provider for Hillsborough County and Pinellas County, and a Step-Up provider. Four year olds can also attend free VPK.

How do I schedule a tour?
